I watched Vilma Santos’ comeback movie, In My Life, after work tonight. It was a really good movie and Ate Vi did not disappoint. She was in her element here. Fiesty, funny, cute, opinionated, contrite and has enough imperfections that we can all relate.

Lucky Manzano was a revelation here. I always thought him as a funny and witty guy but in this movie, he proved that he inherited the acting genes of both his parents, Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano. I loved his sweetheart scenes with cutie John Lloyd Cruz; their scenes looked natural when I expected them to be corny even creepy. John Lloyd Cruz was as always, sensitive and really good.
