It is commonly observed that men love TV more than women. Additionally, men have the propensity to dominate the TV’s remote control. I actually agree with this observation based on my experience and this is quite applicable to a lot of guys I know including my father who easily dictates what shows to be watched once he gets hold of the remote control. Apparently, my nieces have taken after him and there are times that they have remote control battles at our living room. On the other hand, I can actually live without TV but I would be fretting if I cannot have my internet fix for the day. The only time I wish we have cable TV at home are times that I want to watch sports events live or if I want to watch National Geographic or Discovery Channel. If I cannot live without internet, my father cannot live without the TV and for sure, he would be one happy guy if we get the cable at home. Come to think of it, my brother would be ecstatic too if he can get cable at his home right now.
