The living statue inside Venetian Hotel. We initially thought he was just a plain statue until someone commented that he seemed to be breathing so we stayed and stared at him for a few minutes to see if he was really breathing and he actually did. He was standing still without even blinking. His features are of a Pinoy so we were quite curious if he really was. Some people threw some money on the floor infront of him. I heard, he gets to rest after an hour of doing that and gets paid handsomely aside from the tips.
The gondola complete with a singing gondolier inside the hotel.
Part of the Venetian Hotel complete with a miniature river, gondola and bridges.
this reminds me of my experience in makati. there was one like this and i thought he really was a statue. but when i went near him, he moved and I was really suprised that i jumped. lol. i was so embarrased.
i think a living statue is now a common ornaments (if that's what you call them) and it takes a talent to do such job, bec what if some part of their body is itchy? :D
I had the chance to visit Macau for a day last year when I went to HK for a one-week vacation. I got to see the Venetian and the place is indeed very nice and huge. I love its interior along with a replica of an Italian piazza. Glad to see that you enjoyed your visit there too. :)
I also stopped by to say hi and to thank you for visiting my blog. It's very much appreciated. Take care. :)
