Weekend Snapshot#22 Huangpu Park and our Shanghai Meal
Our first day in Shanghai last December 2008 started at the Bund. We walked from our hotel to the Bund. The Bund is Shanghai’s old financial district and is famous for its restored European-styled buildings. It faces Huangpu River and it is also where Huangpu Park is located. Huangpu Park is Shanghai’s oldest park and was originally not accessible to Chinese locals but only to foreigners. Nowadays, it is a popular tourist destination. This is one of the sculptures in Huangpu Park.
After staying for awhile at the Huangpu Park, we decided to get back to Nanjing East Road and took our lunch inside Hongyi Plaza before boarding the subway on our way to the other side of the Huangpu river, the Pudong district.
mukhang ang saya ng weekend mo ha. at ang sarap ng noodles! thats what i miss nung nasa Taiwan ako. pero ingat sa pagkain ha..sabi hinahaluan daw nila ng rat meat. i dont know if its true. sana namna hindi.
