Our office Christmas party is yet to be finalized. For some reason, our Head Office decided to centralize the food purchase, a thing that has never been done before. This has caused confusion and chaos on our branch’s Christmas party plans. This also put on hold my plan to buy the Christmas gift for the party's exchange gift program. The office Christmas party (if ever it will push through) will going to be a family affair. A lot of people did not want it done that way considering that our office outing and Halloween celebrations were all family days; we actually need a break from those. Several have already suggested that the party be cancelled but already, the food reservations from Head Office was already final. As this has caused so much confusion already, I personally think that we could just do the party on per division/department basis. This will be easier to manage and there will be less confusion. 
Speaking of Christmas gifts, I just love those personalized holiday gifts. They are unique and need not be expensive. A few years ago, I gave personalized pens as Christmas gifts. This year, I am thinking of giving a flash drive for a good friend who is always on the go and who takes the work everywhere with him. I found very cool but affordable Business Card Flash Drives and I think, this is just right for him. I have also seen the Wooden USB Flash Drives. They are also good for environment-friendly, outdoorsy people; and the best thing, they are all at 20% off until the end of the year!
I do hope our Christmas party will be finalized immediately so that I can also choose what personalized holiday gift should I buy for our office gift exchange.
