This is my favorite pica-pica. My favorite is usually the ones that can be bought at the side of San Pedro Cathedral, Davao City. Loaded with garlic, deep fried, crunchy, a bit salty (another choice is sprinkled with chili powder and/or cheese poweder) and yummy! There are three kinds of peanuts to choose: with the skin (red colored ones), without the skin (light colored ones) and last but not the least, covered with sugar (far right plate). The peanut is usually of native variety and is sweeter than the fourth choice--the bigger, imported ones (left bottom of the pic). My choice? I will go for the red ones, guaranteed better-tasting even if you have to eat their red skin.

The price? It’s cheap! P5 half of the small glass you can see among the peanuts. P10 for glassful of it.
